Life Story

Val Monroe Berry passed away on 2/11/11 at Georgetown University Hospital at the age of 49. His wife, Mayra Vazquez failed to ever notify Val's parents of his passing . What kind of person does such an inhumane thing?

The last time anyone saw Val outside of the wife, the mother in law and Val's 2 youngest children was on 12/24/10. He was denied contact via the telephone or visits from family and friends. Val's sister discovered the passing of her brother only by going to the hospital on 2/12/11 to visit Val, only to be told he had passed away the day before.

Val's wife had him cremated and never even extended an invitation to Val's parents or siblings. From what we understand there was time from the time Val was admitted until his passing for his wife give his parents the opportunity to say goodbye however that never happened.

To make matters even worse, not only has Val's parents lost a son, they also lost 2 grandchildren since Mayra has denied any contact with the kids. I ask again what kind of person does this? The person who was supposedly Val's caregiver.

What kind of care exactly was going on in that house? Can anyone shed some light on the matter because right now Mayra Vazquez is looking like a person with something to hide.

It certainly cannot be healthy for Veronica and Kris to be in the care of someone like that. What kind of brainwashing has she done to those children to make them believe that no one cared about the only father they have known all these years?

Val Berry had a life long before a Mayra Vazquez was ever even thought of 15 years ago. From the memorial posted by Mayra Vazquez, you would not think so. Val has 2 older children , Alex and Korin and also a grandchild Lucia.

The memorial previously posted by Ms. Vazquez has now been deactivated. What is that about?
