Obituary – Daniel J. Maghakian
Merrimack, NH – Daniel J. Maghakian, a former Lowell resident, died unexpectedly on Sunday February 7, 2010 at his Merrimack, NH residence at the age of 19.
He was born in Lowell on January 20, 1991, a son of Pamela and Robert Ferry, Sr. of Merrimack, NH and Michael Maghakian, Sr. of Winchendon, MA who survive him.
Daniel was educated in the Lowell schools and recently decided to enter culinary arts school.
He enjoyed basketball and played on several teams in his youth. He was a member of the YMCA where he continued to play basketball and worked out. Daniel appreciated listening and writing music, liked video games, and was an avid bike rider. Most of all Daniel cherished time spent with his family and friends. He was a sweet loving family son and his family remembers how he was always the first one to volunteer help with a project. We all loved his impish smile and his love for animals and nature which we will miss until we meet again.
Surviving him besides his parents are three brothers, Timothy Maghakian, Michael Maghakian, Jr., Christopher Ferry, all of Merrimack, NH; step brothers and sister, Kristen, Robert and John Ferry; three nephews, Timmy, Michael, and Camden; maternal grandparents, L. Warner, Sr. of Litchfield, NH, Marie Nuber of Winterhaven, FL; paternal grandparents, Gil and Carol Maghakian of SC, Patricia and Gil Hughes of Hampstead, NH; several aunts, uncles, and cousins including a few close cousins Sarah, Eric and John.
Maghakian – Relatives and friends may call at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME 327 Hildreth Street from 4 until 8 PM on Thursday.
